A warm welcome to my website, for a virtual trip through my work. This website is brand new, and contains a small part of the more than 40.000 pictures I've made since 2001. Most of the pictures I've taken were in Africa, where I stay several months a year. A lot of the African pictures are taken in Kruger National Park in South Africa, a magnificent place to be and to work, and we consider it to be our second home.

Living in the heart of a wildlife reservation area in The Netherlands, I don't have to go far to get inspired as my favourite "subjects" are everywhere around me. Different to when I'm in Africa, it's not wildlife that is my "main thing" in the Netherlands. Most of the time I work with birds, beautiful spheres in the woods, toadstools and other macro photography.
