"Nature's Art" photographs by Yvonne van der Mey

One of the greatest things for me, is to go into the forest with my camera with no plan at all; not after deers or anything else. But when the light is good, and especially after a rainfall, there is always plenty to see and to make pictures off. It is just a matter of walking slowly, not thinking, but just enjoying the beauty that occurs in very simple and small things.

I feel that it's the most effective way to get rid of stress and worries. When you really get into it, you simply can't think of anything else. The atmosphere, the light, the colours, it just grabs you and holds your attention. Very often I have been amazed at coming home, and having a look on the photographs on my computer.

These photographs, some have been hanging on my wall for years, are very dear to me, and I still enjoy looking at them. I hope you feel the same way too.
